The Naval Oceanographic Office intends to negotiate and award an indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity type purchase order, utilizing simplified acquisition procedures under FAR Subpart 13.5, for commercial items, flat panel quadrant antennae for WEFAX reception, SFWX Model OMNI-PL-WFX Remote Antenna or equal with downconverter, Quorum Model ESD-1691-137.5 or equal. Antenna assembly is to meet salient characteristics, as set forth in the solicitation, and is to be capable of directly interfacing with the Quorum Communications WorldPort Satellite Receiver for the reception of WEFAX satellite weather transmissions. Contract shall cover ordering period for a base plus two (2), one year, option periods. Estimated quantities are a minimum of 22 each and a maximum of 130 each per each ordering period, for a total estimated quantity of 66 to 390 each over the entire order period (base and all options). Solicitation, N62306-00-Q-B015, is projected to be issued o/a 29 Aug 2000, with a due date for submission of quotations of ten (10) days after issuance. Quotation evaluations will be based upon technical acceptability of quoted product, past performance and price (for total estimated quantities for each order period).
