The Broadcasting Board of Governors= International Broadcasting Bureau (BBG/IBB), Office of Contracts, Simplified Acquisitions Branch CON/SA, has a requirement for a contractor to provide computer data cabling installation, maintenance, and removal of various types of data cabling, i.e., fiber optic (including MTP), twisted pair, and coaxial data cables. A quoter (offeror) may also include as an optional service a price quotation and technical capability information for cable system design services. These services are being procured utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures as specified in Part 13 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation. Price quotations that exceed the Simplified Acquisition Threshold (as specified in FAR Subpart 2.101, Definitions) will not be considered as responsive to this RFQ. This procurement is 100% Small Business Set-Aside in accordance with FAR Subpart 19.502. The Standard Industrial Code is 7389. The Government anticipates awarding a Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA), to the responsible quoter (offeror) whose price quotation (offer) conforming to the RFQ will be most advantageous to the Government, based on the offeror's Technical Capabilities/Experience and Price Quotation. Based on the above two Selection criteria, Price is the significantly dominant criterion over Technical Capabilities/Experience. Period of Performance: One Year from Date of Award with up to two (2) option years. Area of Consideration: Price quotations will only be considered from contractors located within the DC Metropolitan area, consisting of the District of Columbia, Maryland, and Virginia.
