Computer Sciences Corp (CSC) intends to undertake a competitive procurement to acquire a suite of Enterprise Application Integration (AEI) tools required to support the implementation and integration of the NASA Agency-wide Integrated Financial Management (IFM) Program which will be supported by CSC under contract to Marshall Space Flight Center (MSFC), Huntsville (HSV), AL. The IFM Program will be based on an Enterprise-wide Resource Planning (ERP) system which will consist of COTS s/w packages and client/server architecture and will be implemented by a series of replacements of existing NASA functional modules. CSC anticipates a four (4) year subcontract providing for the acquisition of AEI licenses, integration and implementation services,and continuing software support over the life to the agreement. Due to the nature of multiple type AEI solutions, schedules, and architecture issues, CSC intends to hold a Pre-proposal Bidder's Conference at 655 Discovery Dr, Research Park, HSV AL beginning at 8:00a.m. Central Time, 7 September to obtain Industry comments on the contents of the attached draft technical specification (Word 7.0 document) and discuss business issues such as licensing methodologies. CSC intends to resolve technical and business issues during this meeting and release a formal Request For Proposal (RFP) on or about 14 September 2000.
