When the cleaning of the system is completed, the contractor will then sanitize the system. The contractor will then reinstall the supply and return registers. The resultant contract will be a firm fixed price service type contract. The procurement will be obtained utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). Solicitation will be procured utilizing best value method considering price and other factors. The Request for Quotation will state basis for award (evaluation criteria). The contractor will be rated on their membership with the National Air Duct Cleaners Association or an equilvalent association and the contractor will provide copies of their Air Systems Cleaning Specialist certification. The Standard Industrial Classification Code is 7349. This solicitation is unrestricted -- open to large and small business concerns. The availability of the solicitation will be limited to the electronic medium. Specifications WILL NOT be provided in a paper hard copy format OR CD-ROM.
