embankment; 1,800 sq m earthwork geotextiles; 28,623 sq m roadway
obliteration; 51,000 sq m subgrade stabilization with lime; 1,850 cu m
riprap; 2,608 sq m MSE walls; 4,000 t untreated aggregate courses;
5,000 t minor crushed aggregate; 2,000 t minor hot asphalt concrete;
320 t asphalt surface treatment; 400 t asphalt prime coat; 82 t asphalt
tack coat; 94,000 t hot open graded asphalt concrete; 60 cu m
structural concrete; 3,940 kg reinforcing steel; 100 m steel bridge
railing;3,110 m culverts; 1,500 m std underdrain; 300 m underdrain
outlet; 350 m paved waterways; 3,300 m guardrail; 35,000 m fences,
gates, & cattle guards; 33,000 sq m topsoil; 450 slry units turf

mailbox supports; and other smaller items of work. Project is located
approximately 18 km Northwest of Council, Idaho. This action is being
considered for a Total HUBZone Small Business Set-Aside. Prime
Contractors who are HUBZone small businesses and who intend to submit
an offer for this solicitation, MUST submit by e-mail to
contracts@wlf.fha.dot.gov the following for receipt by COB on August
31, 2000: (a) a positive statement of your intention to submit an offer
for this solicitation as a Prime Contractor; (b) date of HUBZone small
business certification; (c) statment of bonding capability, to include
both single and aggregate totals; and (d) listing of experience in work
similar in type and scope to include contract numbers, project titles,
dollar amounts, and points of contact with their phone numbers. All of
the above must be submitted in sufficient detail for a decision to be
made on availability of interested HUBZone concerns. Failure to submit
all information requested will result in a contractor being considered
"not interested" in this solicitation. A decision on whether this will
be pursued as a HUBZone small business set-aside or on an unrestricted
basis will be posted as a modification in the Commerce Business Daily
including CBDNet. Work shall be completed by September 1, 2002.
