Performance time for this project is 480 days. Renovation of 46
Military Family Housing (MFH) Units at Hunley Park, Charleston AFB, SC.
Interior work to include removal of asbestos & lead based paint &
replacement of all interior finishes, drywall, insulation, windows,
doors, wood trim, bathroom fixtures, kitchen cabinets, kitchen
countertops, refrigerators, stoves, water heaters, HVAC & utility
systems including slab sewer lines & sewer laterals. Other interior
modifications to include providing breakfast areas and family rooms and
the relocation of mechanical equipment & laundry room. Exterior work
includes providing patios, privacy screening, landscaping, vinyl trim,
roof shingle replacement and movement of clean out pipes. Site work to
include installation of new underground electrical system w/pad mounted
transformers & street lights for all electric neighborhoods.
Installation of a new cable television system as well as replacing the
sewer system. Community improvements to include construction of a new
roadway & repair of playground, sidewalks & landscaping. The
solicitation will be issued as unrestricted and will be evaluated using
Pricing/Performance Trade-Off and under the HUBZone Preference
Program.This project may be considered for 100 percent set-aside for
HUBZone concerns. Interested HubZone concerns should, as early as
possible, but not later than 15 days of this notice, indicate interest
in the acquisition by providing to the Contracting Office evidence of
capability to perform, including references, bonding capacity, and
points of contact for similar type work (SIC Code) in this dollar
magnitude. If adequate interest is not received from HUBZone concerns,
the solicitation will be issued as unrestricted without further
notice. Therefore, replies to this notice are requested from all
business concerns as well as from HUBZone concerns. SIC Code 1521. All
additional work is listed as options. Government_s rights regarding
options: Subject to availability of funds, the Government reserves the
right to purchase any optional requirements not purchased at time of
award at any future time through 30 December 2000, provided the
relative standing of the successful offeror would have remained
unchanged had the Government evaluated that combination of initially.
