The U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) has a requirement for Multi-Sonic drill equipment platform and installation on our Hovercraft. THE USGS ANTICIPATES AWARDING THE PURCHASE ORDER TO MPI DRILLING. MPI Drilling owns patents and/or proprietary rights to the design and manufactures the only compact "multi-sonic" drilling tool (Meta Drill) that can recover continuous cores through variably saturated unconsolidated deposits to depths exceeding 30 meters. This manufacturer is capable of building lightweight custom-built drills that uses the hovercraft power unit and is fitted to a custom hull dedicated to drilling. The result will be a one of a kind craft that can gather data on continuous traverses from very shallow water, to tidal and lacustrine marshes, to dry land.
