The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) has a requirement for the supply and installation of two (2), 20 inch, high performance, butterfly valves in the condenser water system at the Central Plant located in Gaithersburg, Maryland. The work is required to be completed during the NIST Fall 2000 site wide outage. This requirement includes an option for the supply and installation of up to four (4) more valves in the Central Plant, anticipated to be installed during the NIST Spring 2001 site wide outage. Complete specifications shall be issued with the Request for Quotation (RFQ). -- F.O.B. Destination, NIST, Gaithersburg, MD -- This requirement is being procured using the simplified procedures identified in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13, as supplemented by FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, this document, and the full solicitation package. -- This acquisition is set aside for small business.
