Item 1 -- Design, fabricate and test Aluminum alloy high-pressure helium gas cell -- External size: 8mm, Diameter size: not-to-exceed 65mm, Length -- no more than 160mm. Maximum Allowed Working Pressure (MAWP) 150,000-175,000psi (10-12 kbar), depending on internal diameter) for Maximum Operating Pressure (MOP) 100,000-150,000psi (7-10 kbar) or better. For use with nonpolar fluids (dry helium gas or hydrocarbon liquids). Material must be aluminum alloy (7075) or better). Internal size: Diameter -- 10mm, Length -- 70mm. High pressure fittings for connection to existing high-pressure gas system to be determined in consultation with the University Technical Representative. Note: Internal diameters are given and external diameter should not exceed 8 inches. Item 5 -- Pressure stabilizeer steel cell. This cell is intended to be part of the the high-pressure gas system. Internal volume 12mm diameter X 100mm length. MAWP 200,000psi (14 kbar) for MOP of 175,000psi (12 kbar) for use with nonpolar fluids (dry helium gas). Equipped with four electrical leads into connection to existing high-pressure gas system to be determined in consultation with the University Technical Representative.
