Services, Nonpersonal: This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is a Request For Quote (RFQ), and the reference number is 6730 Projection System. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-18. This is a 100% set-aside for small businesses, the Standard Industrial Classification is 1731 (Electrical Work), and the small business size standard is $11.5 Million. Contractor to provide all tools, parts, materials, labor, equipment, and transportation necessary to supply and install projection system parts for upgrade of current system, and remove old projection system parts in accordance with the Statement Of Work (SOW) linked with this synopsis/solicitation. Delivery, installation, and acceptance will be at the HQ AMC CSS/CS Conference room, Bldg 861, Scott AFB IL. The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors -- Commercial, applies to this acquisition. The provision at 52,212-2, Evaluation -- Commercial Items applies to this acquisition and the Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers: technical capability of the item offered to meet the Government requirement;and price. Technical is equal when compared to price. The Government reserves the right to award to other than the offeror with the lowest price. Award shall be based on best value to the Government. Offerors shall include a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications -- Commercial Items with its offer.
