a requirement for fabrication and installation of one (1) Mail
Processing Table (hereafter referred to as the "table")to be used in
the Copyright Division Mail Unit in the James Madison Building. The
table shall be designed to meet the Copyright and Facility Design and
Construction (FD&C) safety, ergonomic, operational and aesthetic
requirements prescribed by the Library of Congress. This table must be
extremely durable, as it will be used to process over 300
cartons/boxes per day as the primary processing location for all
Copyright applications. At the same time, ergonomic comfort and
convenience are essential to safeguard the health and well being of the
staff. The table to be designed, fabricated and installed under this
contract is to be in place by January 26, 2001. Time is of the essence
in the completion of this requirement. The Statement of Work (SOW),
specifications and drawings are available upon request. Requests for
