The Federal Highway Administration/Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration intends to issue a purchase order to the Motor Freight Carriers Association (MFCA) to conduct various media, public relations and public information initiatives on the Share the Road Safely Campaign. This is a partnership that will promote the Share the Road Safely Campaign to more than a million people participating in truck shows, demonstrations, and media outlets. Because of the research, expertise, and existing data that MFCA possesses, their willingness to partner with the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration to provide these services, and their relationship with non-traditional audiences such as high schools, driver education classes, senior citizen events, farms, NASCAR races, and many more, no other known source can provide this service.
