The Federal Highway Administration (FHWA)intends to issue a purchase order to the Foundation for Pavement Preservation to obtain the services necessary to notify and support necessary personnel to serve on pavement preservation Expert Task Groups (ETG) comprised of members representing State and local highway agencies, AASHTO, industry, and academia. In order to maintain the high level of expert involvement and continued success of the ETG, FHWA intends to continue their relationship with the Foundation. Furthermore, because of the need to continue a partnership between public agencies and industry resources, the Foundation for Pavement Preservation is the only known source who is composed of representatives from State and local highway agencies, industry, academia, and FHWA, and, therefore, is the only known source who can provide this service.
