The Army Telecommunications Directorate (ATD) has a requirement for nonpersonal services for local telephone exchange services for Fort Gordon, Georgia. The proposed contract is for a base year with four one-year options. The local exchange services provider, certified by the state of Georgia, shall provide local commercial communications service for Fort Gordon which shall include, as a minimum but not limited to, local access for commercial subscriber lines, Centrex lines, local exchange access digital trunks, directory number and number portability. All responsible sources may submit an offer that shall be considered. Sources responding to this requirement must indicate in writing, whether they are a large, small, disadvantaged and /or women-owned business. For this acquisition, a concern will be considered small under SIC code 4813 with size standard of 1500 employees. In order to be eligible for award of these services, Offerors will be required to have a Basic Agreement with this office. This requirement shall be a commercial fixed price with economic adjustment type contract. Solicitation is anticipated to be released on or about 25 Aug 00.
