Brokerage/acquistion/market, PattonLG@state.gov. The U.S. Department of
State, Office of Logistics Management, on behalf of the Department's
Office of Foreign Buildings Operations, is seeking qualified
international real estate firms to provide the following services
related to their property portfolio which is described as follows:
Disposal Services Traditional real estate brokerage and services in
support of the sale, exchange or other disposition of real property
overseas; Acquisition Services Identifying, evaluating and acquiring
properties and services in support of the purchase, exchange or other
acquisition of real property overseas; Market Research Services
Conducting market research in support of acquisition/disposal
activities and other global, regional or country-wide portfolio
management strategies and activities; Tenant Representation Services
Identifying, evaluating and leasing real property overseas. The Foreign
Buildings Office of the U.S.Department of State manages the U.S.
Government's diplomatic-mission related real estate (locatedexclusively
outside the United States), including approximately 14,000 properties
in more than 250 cities worldwide. Leased and owned property types
include office, warehouse, land, recreation, residential (single and
multi-family), mixed-use and others, all related to the U.S.
Government's diplomatic missions abroad. Individual property values
range from less than $100,000 to the tens of millions of dollars. DOS
anticipates awarding at least three Indefinite Quantity/Indefinite
Delivery (IDIQ) type contracts. The period of performance for each IDIQ
will be one base year plus four option years. DOS guarantees a minimum
of $10,000 over the life of the contract for each contract awarded.
Task orders will be placed against the contracts on an as-needed basis
and individually negotiated. A security clearance is not required. All
requests for the RFP shall reference the RFP number SLMAQM-00-R-6059.
The expected release date of this RFP is October 6, 2000. Expressions
