NOTICE OF INTENT -- SOLE SOURCE PROCUREMENT It is the intent of the US Fish and Wildlife Service to issue a sole source award to Griffith Wildlife Biology from Calumet, Michigan to manage the population of non-native brown-headed cowbirds in San Diego County, near Carlsbad, California. Griffith Biology will use their authored protocol that has been endorsed by the US Fish and Wildlife Service and the California Department of Fish and Game. Trapping and managing the cowbirds will encompass lands that are owned by the Government, State and individual landowners. Posted 08/19/00 (W-SN488056).
