Aberdeen Area Indian Health Service is seeking applicants for a non-personal service contract to provide security guard services for the Omaha/Winnebago Service Unit, Winnebago PHS Indian Hospital, Winnebago, Nebraska 68071. The security guard shall provide protective services to patients, employees, visitors,and property at the Omaha/Winnebago Service Unit and the government buildings located with the IHS compound. The contractor must have at least six months of experience in security/police work. The position is subject to a criminal background investigation. The period of performance will be from October 1, 2000 through September 30, 2001. The contractor will be required to work 7 days a week, sixteen hours per day. Hours of service shall be as follows: Shift #1 -- 2:30 p.m. through 11 p.m. with 1/2 hour break; Shift #2 -- 10:30 p.m. through 7 a.m. with 1/2 hour break. This contract is subject to the Service Contract Act and Wage Determination # 94-2323, Rev. 11, dated June 1, 1999, Occupational Code 27101.
