This requirement is to lease seven (7) Ford, F350 Dual axle, 2 wheel trucks, for towing of trailers. Minimum requirements for each truck are: Crew cab, Color (Deep Wedgwood blue or deep dark blue), front captain seats, bench in back, bed liner, keyless entry, electric locks and windows, cruise control, tilt steering, chrome bumpers, fog lights, tinted windows, diesel turbo engine, mud flaps, carpet and floor mats, chrome rims, extended mirrors (adjustable from inside cab), air conditioning, class three hitch, trailer towing package, GVW 11,200, engine size V8, Diesel 7.3 liter turbo, automatic transmission. Estimated mileage for vehicles are 18,000 miles per year. This term of the lease for this contract will be for one base year with 2 (two)additional option years, for a total of 3 years. The contractor shall provide full coverage "bumper to bumper" warranty on vehicles for the entire length of the contract including option period. Maintenance shall be performed by manufacturer authorized representatives and will be in accordance with the industry standards. The Government will provide government license plates which will be used to identify the vehicles as government operated for official use only. The Government will be self-insured for vehicles leased under contract. Government shall perform preventive maintenance and non-warranty related-maintenance, caused by normal wear and tear, on vehicles as prescribed in applicable owners or maintenance manuals. The Government will be responsible for fuel, oil, and lubricants required to operate or maintain vehicles as prescribed in owners manual when such items are not covered under warranty.
