Contractor will furnish all labor, material and equipment, supervision and skill required to remove two (2) 1,190 gallon old dominion hot water generators, controls and associated piping located in building 1 laundry mechanical room. Contractor will provide and install two instantaneous hot water generators and associated controls. Each generator shall be a complete factory assemble package unit with a combined capacity to provide/supply 180 F water to the three washers (125 lb. washer at 104 GPM/595GPH, 200 lb. Washer at 168 GPM/1345 GPH and 400 lb. Washer at 106GPM/1870 GPH) located in NE2 soiled linen room. The generator will be sized with 20% extra capacity for future washer upgrades. The generators will be steam heated (pressure depended on size of existing steam lines). Contractor will provide all necessary material and labor to tie into existing steam and water lines required for full operation. The work will be done in such a fashion not to shut down the laundry operation at any time. Contractor will be required to provide insulation and properly insulate all new piping and the existing hot water piping located in crawl space, up into NE2 soiled linen room and over to laundry equipment requiring hot water. Completion time is 120 days from receipt of Notice to Proceed. Estimated cost of this project is between $25,000.00 and $100,000.00. Standard Industrial Codes (SIC) for this project are 1711, 1731, and 1542. This will be a 100% Small Business set-aside. The related Small Business size standard is 27.5 million.
