locate potential commercial sources who can satisfy the following
requirements: Floodlight Set using Tactical Quiet Generator, skid
mounted within its own transit container (telescoping mast, illuminated
control panel, ballasts, cables, floodlights, Tactical Quiet Generator,
and storage for other components) NTE 4000 lbs; telescoping mast with
aircraft warning light must be able to withstand 50 MPH winds and with
a maximum extension of 30 feet; provide power 120 VAC or 220 VAC
outlets, must be erected within 3 minutes or less with setup under 5
minutes; rugged zed, shockproof floodlights NTE 40 lbs, have a lamp
life of 1200-1500 hours, and provide 8500- 10000 lumens white light
with a lateral beam spread of 105- 150 degrees; must be easily operated
in all weather conditions during a 8-12 hour work shift; must meet all
Federal and National safety standards for grounding and electrical
shock; must quick disconnect fittings for ease of operation and
maintenance; expected Mean Time Between Operational Failures is
2000-15000 hours; components must be commercially available; and must
be able to use either the 5 KW Tactical Quiet Generator in field
operations or commercial international power sources. The government
does not have any drawings/specifications for these items. Suppliers
capable of furnishing these exact items must so indicate, by writing to
Commander, USACECOM; ATTN: AMSEL-LC-CCS-A-MM (Frank Jasinski or Larry
Rubel); Building 1200E; Fort Monmouth, NJ 07703-5000. The response must
include documentation such as test results, product specifications,
copy of purchase order if the supplier was a vendor to the listed
source or a statement from listed source demonstrating that the
supplier can, in fact, supply the Army with a unit that will be
physically and functionally interchangeable. Successful supplier may be
required to warrant that the items supplied will satisfactorily perform
when used for the purpose intended by the Army. For more information
