Center Toxicology Laboratory has a requirement for Lyphochek (as
manufactured by BioRad Laboratories or equal) Quantitative Bilevel
Urine Controls to include urine metals, urine tox and catecholamine/
metanephrine, VMA standards, columns and solutions. All lyophilized
quantitative urine controls must be made up of a minimum of 74
constituents and provide the most comprehensive list of assayed values
and include electrophoretic patterns along with the assayed values.
Products shall be from a human CSF based control and must have a 30 day
stability after opening. Solicitation number RFQ-618-47-01-LK has been
assigned and it is anticipated that bid documents will be available on
or about August 25, 2000. It is anticipated that a firm-fixed price
contract with a Base Year and two option years will be awarded. Total
contract period will not exceed three years. Solicitation and award
procedures under Federal Acquisition Regulations, FAR 12 and FAR 13
will be followed for this procurement. FSC Code 65 applies. NAICS code
is 325413 In-Vitro Diagnostic Substance Manufacturing (formerly SIC
