The Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) plans to negotiate a purchase order with the Foundation for Intermodal Research (FIRE) to provide support for the Sustainable Goods Movement Roundtable. FIRE will be organizing and conducting the national roundtable freight transportation strategies as well as developing the technical papers which will be used as resource documents for the roundtable. In order for this roundtable to be a success, FHWA along with other sponsors will be providing support for FIRE_s Roundtable. Because FIRE will be organizing and conducting the Roundtable, they are the only known source available to provide support for their Roundtable.
