Defense Supply Service-Washington intends to negotiate a sole source contract with Clockwork Design Group, Austin, TX, for reliability life cycle modeling for the M1A1 Engine and selected components of the Blackhawk and Apache Helicopters. Tasks include(1) collecting and analyzing data, including fleet characteristics, components configurations, maintenance and repair processes; (2) collecting and analyzing parts data; (3) creating and validating the "as is" baseline SPAR model of the selected components, including use and support infra-structure; (4) using the model to analyze and optimize total ownership cost; and (5) train and support AMCOM, TACOM, and PM personnel in the use of the models. This is a follow on effort to existing work completed by Clockwork. No solicitation package will be issued.
