M -- INDUSTRY COMMENTS SOUGHT REGARDING "DRAFT" PERFORMANCE WORK STATEMENT (PWS) FOR THE WHOLE BASE OPERATING SUPPORT FUNCTIONS AT THE JOINT READINESS TRAINING CENTER, (JRTC), FORT POLK, LA. M -- Army Atlanta Contracting Center (AACC) at Fort McPherson, GA is interested in receiving comments from industry regarding the "DRAFT" Performance Work Statement (PWS) for the whole base operating support functions at the Joint Readiness Training Center (JRTC), Fort Polk, Louisiana. All industry comments solicited by this "DRAFT" will be carefully reviewed and taken into consideration. Any changes made will be at the sole discretion of the contracting officer, and approved changes will be subsequently reflected in the draft and/or final solicitation documents. Time does not permit individual responses to submitters comments. All comments are due at close of business, 11 September 2000. This requirement is a Whole Base Study for Fort Polk, LA under OMB Circular No. A-76, "Performance of Commercial Activities" and will cover a wide range of functions required to provide complete base operating support to installation customers. Current installation activities with positions that will undergo studyfor cost competition include: Directorate of Logistics (DOL); Directorate of Public Works (DPW); Directorate of Community and Family Activities (DCFA); G3/Directorate of Plans, Training, Mobilization and Security (DPTMS); and G1/Adjutant General (AG). The Standard Industrial Classification Code (SIC) for this requirement is 8744, Base Maintenance, with a size standard of $20 Million. Market research has been performed and requirement will be solicited on an unrestricted basis. THIS IS AN INDUSTRY ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY. THERE IS NOT A SOLICITATION AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME.
