THIS ANNOUNCEMENT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY SOLICITATION; PROPOSALS ARE BEING REQUESTED AND A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. (ii) This SOLICITATION NUMBER N68335-00-Q-0240 is issued as a request for quote (RFQ). (iii) The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through FEDERAL ACQUISITION CIRCULAR #97-14, and DEFENSE FEDERAL ACQUISITION CIRCULAR # 91-13. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS (1) The material shall be in accordance with specification SAE-AMS 6348B GRADE 4130 A.C. NORMALIZED. (2) The steel bars shall be packaged FIVE (5) EACH TO A BUNDLE and shall be identified in accordance with MIL-STD-163 COMMERCIAL LEVEL. (3) The heat code MUST BE METAL STAMPED ON THE END OF EACH BAR WITH AT LEAST 1/4" HIGH CHARACTERS. (4) Material Certification/Certificate of Conformance shall be delivered to government as deliverable. (vii) Date(s) and place(s) of delivery and acceptance and FOB point. The Steel Bar shall be delivered to: Receiving Officer Naval Air Warfare Center, Aircraft Division, Highway 547, Lakehurst, NJ 08733 MARK FOR: MDC. The Steel Bar shall be delivered to the Naval Air Warfare Center AD, Lakehurst for acceptance no later than 90 DAYS ARO. FOB point DESTINATION, DESTINATION ACCEPTANCE ON A DD FORM 250.
