brand name or equal for GigaSTORE, model GS7599CX-144-2 by Celerity
Systems. SCHEDULE OF ITEMS: Item 0001, The system shall consist of a
dual-channel raid-based data acquisition, storage, and playback system.
The channels shall be capable of both independent and coherent
operation, and of accepting either digital or analog inputs. Digital
Input: Each channel of the system shall acquire 8-bit differential
emitter-coupled logic (DECL) data from a Sony DIR-1000H/Adario system
routed through a Radix Model 1010A digital switch, at rates up to 100
megabytes per second. Digital Output: Each channel of the system shall
play back, in single-play and loop-play modes, selected segments of
recorded data in DECL format to a Radix 1010A digital switch; the
system shall also output user-selected segments of recorded data, via
Ethernet connection, to a host network file in MARTES format. Analog
Input: Each channel of the system shall have an analog input capable of
recording signals in 8-bit samples at rates up to 100 megasamples per
second. Analog Output: Each channel of the system shall have an analog
output capable of playing back, in single-play and loop-play modes,
selected segments of recorded data. Capacity: Each channel of the
system shall have a minimum data storage capacity of 144 gigabytes.
Acquisition Start and Stop Control: The system shall accept an external
TTL gate signal to control coherent dual-channel data acquisition start
and stop. System Control: The system shall be remotely controllable via
Ethernet connection to its imbedded CPU controller, using a graphical
user interface (GUI) running on an Xwindows platform. The GUI shall
provide setup and control functions of the system, data monitoring
during acquisition, as well as the ability to review data after
acquisition to ensure proper recording, in time and frequency domains.
Data Integrity: The system shall incorporate error detection and
correction to maintain data integrity and to alert the user in the
event that data is corrupted during acquisition or playback.
Self-Testing: The system shall contain self-test circuitry to verify
RAID storage media operation and internal data paths. Cabling: The
system shall be supplied with cables to interface the system's digital
inputs and outputs to a Radix Model 1010A digital switching matrix.
Mounting: The system shall be capable of being mounted in a standard
19-inch rack. Installation and Training: The vendor shall perform
on-site setup of the system and conduct operator training for, three
people, for three days. Power: The system shall operate on nominal 110
vac, 60 Hertz. Delivery: The unit shall be delivered to DIA/MSIC,
