LOPEZ, Contracting Officer, Ph: 305-437-2660, Fax: 305-437-2752 The U.S. Southern Command (USSOUTHCOM) requires on-site supervision, labor [fitness attendants(s)] and materials to operate the USSOUTHCOM Fitness Center, located at 3511 NW 91st Avenue, Miami, FL 33172, on Monday-Friday from 0600 Hours to 1900 Hours, and Saturday from 0800 Hours to 1400 Hours, during the period of 1 October 2000 to 30 September 2001. Personnel working in the Fitness Center must have a minimum of: 2 years experience working in a Fitness Center and 2 years working with adult health and wellness programs, an Associates Degree or certificate in a field directly related to adult health and fitness, and must have current CPR/First Aid certification. Contractor must also provide 300 clean towels daily, issue a variety of government furnished recreational items (i.e., basketballs, etc.) and equipment (i.e. locks and keys, etc.), maintain a daily sign-in-log and prepare reports (i.e., Weekly Maintenance Log/Report, Monthly Fitness Center Report, etc.), and be familiar with gym equipment, and periodically maintain, lubricate and adjust said equipment. Contractors must be registered in Central Contractor Registration (CCR) in order to be eligible for contract award. Procurement is 100% Small Business Set-aside.
