Testing and Maintenance of Backflow Prevention Assemblies (BPA) at
various facilities on Fort Lewis, Washington. The Contractor shall
provide all labor, materials, equipment, tools, software, hardware and
any other items and services not Government furnished necessary to
maintain Backflow Preventers in accordance with contract
specifications. Work includes: testing, maintenance, repair or
replacement of Backflow Prevention Assemblies. The Assemblies shall be
disassembled in place and valves, valve covers, springs, seals,
gaskets shall be cleaned and inspected and replaced if necessary.
Individuals employed by the Contractor to perform tests on BPAs shall
be Backflow Assembly Testers certified by the State of Washington. The
Contractor shall input test data and BPA identification information
into a personal computer database and shall provide all software and
hardware required to input data into the database, export files onto
magnetic media, and print reports. The Contractor shall provide
personnel with the necessary skills to operate the database program.
The Government may, at any time during the life of the contract, add
new requirement items that are within the scope of this contract
resulting from regulatory changes or unforeseen needs of the
Government. High Pressure Hot Water Washer Maintenance located in
various buildings, Fort Lewis, Washington: Provide all labor,
materials, equipment, and tools to perform scheduled and unscheduled
maintenance and repair for each High Pressure Washer System in
accordance with the manufacturer's maintenance service instructions and
the contract specifications. Work includes: Semi-annual system
examinations, adjustments, repairs, replacements, cleaning and
lubrication of all hot water washer components including the piping
unit from washer machines to wash stations, wand assemblies, hoses and
guns. Semi-annual servicing shall be performed during the 1st and 3rd
quarters of each contract year. Work shall be scheduled so that
one-third of the hot water washers are serviced each month of the
quarter. Unscheduled maintenance service shall consist of performing
any work necessary to correct malfunctioning or failed hot water
washers. An average of 25 unscheduled service calls may be expected per
month. Some Department of Defense (DOD) facilities or training centers
may be added to or deleted from the contract to conform to mission
requirements and new construction. Contract period shall consist of a
Base Period and four one-year Option Periods. The proposed procurement
listed here is 100 percent set-aside for small business concerns. The
size standard is any concern including its affiliates with an average
annual sales or receipts for its preceding three fiscal years not in
