Background "Non-personal services to provide cell-saver support-a system used to recycle a patient's own blood during invasive surgical procedures. Type of equipment used with the facility include Hermanetics Cell-Saver Plus. Services will be in support of the Surgical Services Flight, 74th Medical Group, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio. The Contractor shall provide competent and experienced cell-saver machine operators, who will operate Government owned cell-saving machines. The Contractor shall provide a certificate of training for cell-saver duties for each operator. Also, upon demand, operators may be required to demonstrate a level of competency, prior to the start of their services. The Contractor shall provide a notarized statement showing that each operator has performed a minimum of 10 cases within the previous six-month period. Additional requirements will be spelled-out in the Statement of Work for this Government requirement. Period of performance is 01 Oct 2000 through 30 Sep 2001. Anticipated award date is 01 Oct 2000, subject to the availability of funds for Fiscal Year 2001.
