Synopsis: Sealed bids from all business concerns will be accepted for the George Washington Memorial Parkway Project PRA-GWMP 1A86, in Arlington and Fairfax Counties, Virginia, and in the City of Alexandria, Virginia. The project consists of milling, overlaying, striping, and other work on the George Washington Memorial Parkway. The project has three schedules; Schedule A work is pavement rehabilitation from the City of Alexandria to I-395; Schedule B is pavement rehabilitation of the outside lanes from the Spout Run Parkway to I-495; and Schedule C work is pavement rehabilitation of the interior lanes from the Spout Run Parkway to I-495. surface preparation and painting of the structural steel, traffic control, and other work. The project is expected to fall within the price range of $1,000,000 to $5,000,000. Bid documents are scheduled to be issued on or about September 8, 2000.
