concerns will be accepted for the Virgin Islands Project NH-9999(72),
on St. Thomas, US Virgin Islands. The project is the fourth island-wide
paving project on St. Thomas, and consists of the following: Route
30-Fortuna Bay Road, Route 38-Weymouth Rhymer Highway, and Route
38-Smith Bay Road. Principal items of work are shoulder and ditch
reconditioning; hot asphalt concrete pavement class B grading E
(surface); hot asphalt concrete pavement class B grading E (wedge and
leveling); asphalt pavement milling; paved waterway, type 4; guardrail
system G4, type 2, class B; guardrail terminal sections (NHCRP 350
accepted); and pavement markings. The project is expected to fall
within the price range of $1,000,000 to $5,000,000. Bid documents are
scheduled to be issued on or about September 8, 2000. Bids will be due
on or about October 12, 2000. Interested parties should telephone
