Contractor shall completely prepare site and furnish all labor, tools, materials and equipment necessary and perform all work to install roofing on approximately 490 squares of roof area, including shingled and EPDM sheet roofing on four (4) buildings at the VA Medical Center, Bath, New York in accordance with specifications and Drawing No. VAMC-514-1626. Demolition work will include removal of existing roofing (built-up, shingles and metal), drip edge, flashing, gutters and downspouts and skylight. New work includes 1/2" CDX sheathing over all decks to receive shingles, 1/2" high density fiberboard on roof's to receive EPDM, 30# felt, fiberglass shingles, ice guard, drip edge, flashing, aluminum gutter and downspouts, vinyl siding, closing in of skylight and installing ridge vents. Contemplated issue date is August 30, 2000 with an approximate opening date of September 27, 2000. The cost range is $100,000 to $250,000. A refundable bid deposit of $100.00 made payable to the VA Medical Center is required for each set of specifications and drawings.
