Forklift shall have the following minimum features: 144" lift height; 114" lowered height H2; 10 deg back, 12 deg fwd tilt; 12,000 lbs capacity at 24" load center to 12'; 60" pallet forks; 84" wide pin type carriage w/side shift; 260 deg turning radius; lug type drive tires; two-stage, 10 ft/no free lift mast; sound quieting kit; cab winterization for -25 deg; long tilt cylinders; auxiliary valve group. Operator cab shall be center mount with: heater; defrost fans; lexan glazing with front and rear mirror; work lights front and rear; and back-up alarm. The contractor shall provide a quotation to the contracting office identified above not later than 091400. Unit price shall include (and identify) all features listed above; initial and refresher (2003) on-site training to comply with OSHA requirements; and 2 copies of Operators Manual. Quotes must also include 3 current customer references within past 2 years (from remote locations); location of 3 nearest authorized service centers; repair history; product literature/ specifications suitable to compare required features if offering brand other than specified; and option for trade-in on 1980 Caterpillar V80D (if available). Quantity is 1 each. Delivery shall be FOB Destination to Lassen Volcanic National Park within 120 days after notification of an award. Please submit alternative bid for delivery within 60 days if possible. The Government will make an award on the basis of "Best Value" after considering price and factors other than price as indicated above. Selection will be made to that firm which can best satisfy the objectives and requirements of the acquisition in a manner most advantageous to the Government.
