NAWCAD has been tasked to design, build, and field twenty-nine (29) WMD-CST Unified Command Suites (UCS). The design of the UCS requires flexibility in establishing communications with many agencies and activities. A family of handheld Motorola radios and accessories are incorporated into the UCS to ensure radio connectivity with local emergency service units via UHF LO, UHF HI, and 800 MHz. In order for the radios to perform according to DOMS requirements, the UCS must be outfitted with a radio interface box (RIB) and necessary microphones and interface modules. Primary components of the Command and Control communications Computers Intelligence (C4I) architecture are the Motorola radios and equipment. To ensure compatibility with the Motorola radios, Motorola support equipment must be procured. All deliverables shall be FOB Destination to Receiving Officer, NAWCAD, Bldg 8115, Villa Road, St. Inigoes, MD 20684-0010; M/F: Jim Steifvater, WMD-CST. Inspection and acceptance shall also be made at destination. The contractor shall extend to the Government full coverage of any standard commercial warranty normally offered in a similar commercial sale. Acceptance of the warranty does not waive the Government's rights under the Inspection clause, nor does it limit the Government's rights with regard to the other terms and conditions of this contract. In the eventof a conflict the terms and conditions of the contract shall take precedence over the warranty.
