This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number for this acquisition is F65503-00QR002 and is being issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 99-16. This acquisition is being issued under Full and Open Competition. The SIC code for this project is 3612, Size Standard $11.5M. The subject acquisition is for the complete design, supply, testing, and commissioning of the complete Airfield Remote Control System. Also included is Airfield Lighting Switchgear Regulatory Assembly installed in a pre-fabricated Airfield Lighting Regulatory Station. All per attached specifications. Required equipment delivery date is 1 June 2001.
