Kilopascals, pounds per square inch and pounds per square foot shall be available as measurements units. The time required to set any pressure shall be 30 seconds or less. The accuracy shall be ?0.001 PSID or better. The control stability must be ?0.0002 PSID or better. The calibration stability shall be ?0.005% of reading or less per 180 days. Operating temperatures from 18 to 36 degrees Centigrade shall not affect the instrument calibration. Pressures of 30 PSIA or less on the pressure or reference port shall not affect calibratin sensitivity. Internal relief valves shall protect externally connected sensors from overpressures resulting from instrument failure. The steady-state gas usage of the device shall be less than 8 standard cubic feet per minute. The pneumatic ports shall have 1/4"" NPT female fittings. A display built in the instrument panel shall indicate the current pressure reading as well as the desired set point. RS-232 and IEEE 488 communications and instrument control shall be supported. 14 Theelectrical power shall be 115 VAC @ 60 Hz. The pressure controller shall be compatible with both air and nitrogen. Capability for automatic heat correction for air and nitrogen must be supported. Local control must be porvided by an instrument front panel interface.The calibration process shall require no mechanical adjustments.The instument shall include NIST traceable calibrations.
