Geoge, Contracting Officer, 202/283-1135 This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items/services prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number TIRNO-00-Q-TGA34 is issued as a Request for Quotation, (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-14. The award will be made to one offeror who fully meets the requirements for providing 100 sleeping rooms, meeting space, breakout rooms, meals and audio visual equipment as specified below for the Internal Revenue Service. Conference dates to be September 18 -- 22, 2000. Vendors shall provide a quote for the following contract line items (CLIN): CLIN 1. 100 sleeping rooms for the period September 18-22, 2000, CLIN 2. Meeting space for 100 people, set up banquet style,rounds, 8 per table, for the period September 19-22, 2000, CLIN 3. Breakout rooms, 3 each, for 30 people, set up rounds, for the period September 19-22, 2000, CLIN 4. Audio visual equipment, microphones, VCR, Monitor, 12 x 12 screen, overhead projector, LCD panel with laptop for powerpoint presentations and flipcharts, stand, and markers for each room, for the period September 19 -22, 2000, CLIN 5. Meals to include breakfast, lunch, dinner and breaks. Facility must be in the Washington, DC Metropolitian Area. The provisions at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors -- Commercial, and FAR 52.212-2, Evaluation -- Commercial Items, apply to this acquisition. Evaluation/award will be made to that offeror whose quote meets the specifications listed above and is the most advantageous price to the government. All responsible sources who can provide the above requirements shall submit written quotations no later than Friday, September 8, 2000, 12:00 noon eastern standard time.
