Dingell VA Medical Center, 4646 John R. Street, Detroit, MI 48201. This is a commercial item, firm-fixed price solicitation. Award will be made on price alone. The Standard Industrial Code for this procurement is 8999 . The projected period of service will be from date of award through September 30, 2001, with three pre-priced option years. Due to the critical nature and sophistication of this equipment, the vendor should be authorized by the equipment manufacturer and have immediate access to all parts and materials including any custom made for the VA. All parts, materials, and software upgrades, must be approved by the manufacturer and suitable for use with this equipment. The service contract shall provide comprehensive 24 hours/7 days a week, on-demand service. Work must be performed by technicians with documented manufacturer's training for the indicated equipment.
