The Program Support Center on behalf of the Office of Public Health and Science intends to award a simplified acquisition on a sole source basis to Communications Works, L.L.C., Washington DC 20036. The basis for this requirement is: To develop and disseminate materials that effectively communicate to key audiences the goals and progress of the " Investing Intellectual Capital in Healthy Early Childhood" conference and the initiative it launches. The contractor shall help design the conference format, with a balance of high-visibility speakers, panels, informal networking and structured working groups. The contractor shall oversee the development of pre-conference materials, regional and national media coverage, and play an active role in the preparation and targeting of conference products. The proposed simplified acquisition is for services for which the government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302-1.
