SCOPE OF REQUIREMENT: The OCC has a requirement for maintenance of its live interior plants, shrubs and trees at its Headquarters in Washington, DC and at its Data Center in Landover, MD. There are approximately 1000 plants in the Headquarters facility, in individual offices and public areas of the nine-story building, and about 25 plants in the Data Center. The selected contractor is to provide the qualified personnel, equipment and materials to accomplish the maintenance services. The contractor will also be responsible for adding and replacing plants, potting and repotting plants, and providing decorations and performing holiday decoration services. HOW TO ACQUIRE A COPY OF THE SOLICITATION: OCC anticipates issuing the solicitation on or about September 15, 2000 at www.eps.gov. The solicitation will contain the details of the required services, the instructions for submitting a quote, and how the quotes will be evaluated. This requirement is a total small business set-aside. SIC code 7389 at $5.0. This requirement will be procured using simplified acquisition procedures under the Test Program for Certain Commercial Items in Subpart 13.5.
