285-7217 The United States Postal Service is soliciting proposals for
sites or existing buildings in Constableville, NY 13325. The site size
desired is between 44,800 and 87,120 square feet of land, excluding
setbacks, easements, drainage and water retention, septic requirements,
and any other unusual conditions affecting development and use. The
optimum site dimensions are 271 feet of frontage by 202 feet of depth.
Requirements for existing buildings are 1,635 square feet of net
interior space, 335 square feet of platform space, and 13,937 square
feet of driveway, parking and maneuvering area. All sites within the
preferred area will be considered; however, sites offered within the
following boundaries will receive priority consideration: within the
limits of the village of Constableville with preference given to Main
St. locations. Offers must be submitted on a USPS Assignable to
Purchase forms, and shall provide a minimum of 9 months for acceptance
of the offer. The successful location must be properly zoned, if
applicable, for use as a Post Office, or must be capable of being
rezoned for such use without delay of construction. Proposals will be
received through September 29, 2000 and must be submitted by principals
only on specified forms and in accordance with the official
