Repair of three tier Paint Float (barge) 23' x 27'. Remove old pontoons 5 x 5 x 21'. Manfacture and replace with new pontoons 5 x 5 x 21' using 1/4" steel plate. Three (3) of these. Remove old wood and replace with new wood using oak. Remove old I beam supports and replace with new I beam under first deck. Remove all old bits and replace with new bits. Repair all damaged hand rail as required not to exceed 25% of total railing. Replace deck grating as required. Fill three pontoons with polyurethane foam. Prime and paint pontoons. Use antifoulant for final coat (2 coats). Use 2 coats for primer. Repairs on Paint Float pontoons are for Port Operations, Naval Station Ingleside, Tx. Solicitation package will be issued on 11 September 2000. Specifications must accompany quote submitted. All responsible quotes from small businesses will be considered.
