Bunn (252) 335-6607 This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and written solicitation will not be issued. This request for quotations incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-18. This acquisition is unrestricted. Items required: CLIN 1; 6" x 50' Titan #SS242 Layflat Discharge Hose 00030 Each. Hoses shall have Dixion Cam & Groove Fittings. Dixon #AC600c BOSS Lock Coupler x Hose Shank with two Dixon #SGS600 Strap Grip Saddles banded with three 3/4" wide SS bands on one end. Dixon #SGS600 Adapter x Hose Shank with two Dixon #SGS600 strap grip saddles banded with three 3/4" wide SS bands on the other end. All hoses shall be tested to 1-1/2 times the weakest component and tagged with the dated tested, the test pressure, the assembly date and the test location. CLIN 2; 1" x 75' Hydraulic Hose 00002 Each. Hoses shall be AeroQuip 2781-16, high impulse, double wire braided with a working pressure of 2,500 psi with a 4 to 1 safety factor. Hoses shall have AeroQuip Quick Disconnect (QD) Fittings FD 5601-16 series. Each hose will have one AeroQuip FD56-1239-16-16s fitting and one AeroQuip 5602-16-16 fitting. All hoses shall be tested to 2 times the weakest component and tagged with the dated tested, the test pressure, the assembly date and the test location. CLIN 3; 1/2" x 75' Hydraulic Hose 00001 Each. Hose shall be AeroQuip 2781-8, high impulse, double wire braided with a working pressure of 4,250 psi with a 4 to 1 safety factor. Hose shall have AeroQuip Quick Disconnect (QD) fittings. Each hose will have one AeroQuip FD56-1239-08-10 fitting and one AeroQuip 5602-08-10 fitting. The hose shall be tested to 2 times the weakest component and tagged with the dated tested, the test pressure, the assembly date and the test location. Delivery will be required no later than15 October 2000 to GPC, 701 Industrial Park Drive, Newport News, VA 23608. Final acceptance will be at destination.
