The Western Area Power Administration, Upper Great Plains Region, intends to purchase relays for use in our Digital Control System to be installed at Fort Thompson SD. The Government intends to acquire the relays from one source of supply under the authority of 41 U.S.C.253( c)(1). The relays are manufactured by Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories, Pullman, WA, and the part numbers are as follows: SEL 0351 61H42546X1 SEL 0311CO1H2425461 SEL 0387514X5H6X4X1 SEL 203033X444MOXX SEL 321124256HGB554 We are not aware of other relays that meet the required contact output amp rating and communication protocols provided by the identified relays. In addition, the use of other manufactured relays, should they be identified, would require reconfiguration of our current Digital Control System at significant cost. This is not a request for quotations and no solicitation is available at this time. The Government reserves the right to solicit quotes based on receipt of affirmative responses to this notice or to issue an order to the manufacturer/distributor of the relays without further notice. All interested parties must include the following information: 1) contractor name, point of contact, address and phone number; 2) information detailing capabilities to provide such items; and 3) a list of references to whom you have provided like items. Failure to provide the information identified when responding to this notice shall be considered non-responsive to the requirements of this announcement.
