USACE, Engineer Research and Development Center (ERDC) proposes to issue a sole source award open market to Porous Materials, Inc./Advanced Pressure Products Division (PMI-APP), 83 Brown Road, Ithaca, NY 14850-1298 to furnish and delivery two (2) each Model PGC-5K-A-6, Automated Pressure Controller for up to 6 pressure generator systems and twelve (12) each Model PG-5K-A, motorized pressure generators. The proposed award action is for supplies for which the Government intends to solicit only one source under the authority of U.S.C. 10 2304(c)(1) and FAR 6.302(b)(4) which states when the agency head has determined in accordance with the agency's standardization program that only the specified makes and models of technical equipment and parts will satisfy the agency's needs for additional units of replacement items, and only one source is available. The new system must be 100% compatible with the existing system. The individual components must be interchangeable with existing components. The existing system was purchased from Porous Materials, Inc./Advanced Pressure Products Division. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit a quote. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. However, all quotes received within 15 days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
