This is a combined synopsis/Solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotes are solicited with this notice. A written quotation will not be issued. The quotation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 97-19. This solicitation is a 100% for small business set-aside; the associated Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) code is 2599 (Size: 500 Employees). The Television-Audio Support Activity proposes to procure the following items: CLIN 0001: Six (6) each, 60-inch work benches: 1) Work benches shall be a modular pedestal based system. Must support up to 1000 lbs. Benches may have legs in addition to pedestal support. 2) The main work surfaces of bench shall be manufactured with minimum of 1 thick E.S.D. laminated material (Work surface color: white). 3) Sheet metal structures shall be of minimum 14Ga. Any open lower leg frame units shall have end modesty insert panels. The lower back of the benches shall have modesty insert panel. 4) All metal surfaces shall be finish with epoxy coating (light gray or light beige color). 5) Bench size shall be 60-IN wide, 36-IN deep, 34-IN 36-IN high. 6) Upper shelf size shall be 15-IN deep, 22-IN to 24-IN high, minimum 20-IN clearance from bottom of shelf to main workbench work surface. 7) Under upper shelf fluorescent light 48-in long, 2 lamps fixture with on/off switch. 8) Each workbench shall have a (red color) power disconnect for all power at the workbench. 9) Power risers: 2-with 4-15amp outlets per each riser and a separate power cord (all electrical wires shall be minimum 12 Ga THHN, 3 wires (neutral, hot & ground) all the way and 20 amp power cord plug. 10) Ground kit shall have ESD (Electrostatic dissipative) with banana jacks for wrist straps one right and one left. 11) Drawers in pedestal or support leg shall have 4 power outlets in front, (outlet requirement in Item 9). 12) Power way shall be in rear of the workbench (16-15amp outlets) see Item #9 for power cord & plug requirements). Offeror proposing other than the requested item must include specification data sheets/brochures, etc., sufficient to enable the Government to determine the capability of the offered item to meet the specifications as stated in this notice. Responses to this notice must be provided in writing. The evaluation criteria for this solicitation will consist of lowest priced, technical capability of the offeror to meet the agency requirement and past performance. To be eligible to receive an award resulting from this quotation, contractor must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR)database, NO EXCEPTIONS.
