N00019-97-D-0124 Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ)
contract to 15 April 2001 to Raytheon Company dba Raytheon Systems
Company, Tucson, AZ for the High-Speed Anti-Radiation Missile (HARM).
This extension is necessary for the repair and engineering and/or
integrated logistics support services until a new contract is in place.
Raytheon will be required to provide Navy, Air Force, and Foreign
Military Sales (FMS) requirements to repair, modify, calibrate, test,
certify, and/or evaluate HARM missiles, missile sections, assemblies,
subassemblies, and related equipment as well as technical data. This
IDIQ contract also provides for Navy, Air Force, and FMS sustaining
post-production services (engineering and/or integrated logistics
support). Raytheon is the designer, developer, and sole qualified
producer of the HARM missile and the associated Peculiar Support
Equipment (PSE). No other contractor has the unique HARM experience,
facilities, specialized production equipment, and highly skilled
personnel regarding the AGM-88 HARM weapon system to meet these
