The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) has a requirement for Real Estate Property Sales Closing Services for single family properties (1-4 units) owned by HUD. The geographic area covered by this solicitation is Dade County in the state of Florida. The primary objectives of the proposed contract are to ensure that: 1) The sale of all properties assigned to the contract close within the time stipulated by the sales contract. 2) Prompt and accurate payment of all closing charges are made. 3) The net proceeds of each sale are deposited to a non-interest bearing escrow account and request is initiated for the wire transfer of the proceeds via wire to HUD's account with the U.S. Treasury on the day closing or not later than the next banking day. 4) The complete closing package is submitted to the management and marketing contractor within three (3) business days of closing. HUD anticipates awarding one contract. This contract will be for one base year with four option years. All responsible sources may submit a proposal. HUD anticipates mailing the solicitation on or about September 11, 2000.
