The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), Chicago
Contracting Operations Branch intends to procure a fixed-price contract
for the Office of Policy Development & Research (PD&R), under the
Federal Acquisition Regulations, Simplified Acquisition Procedures, for
a single research project that would involve three related analyses.
The following is a description of the services: Prepare a thorough
review of the existing social science literature on the impact of
homeownership on the owner family. Prepare a methodological analysis of
how one could measure the impact of homeownership on neighborhoods.
Replicate the study "The Impact of Home Ownership on Child Outcomes" by
D.R. Haurin, T. Parcel, and R.J. Haurin using localized controls for
neighborhood influences. The Performance Period is 62 weeks from
effective date. The SIC Code is 8732. The Size Standard is $5 million.
