U -- SATELLITE LIVE BROADCASTS SOL V777P-55-00 DUE 090800 POC Sherry Farley, phone: 440-526-3030 extension 7442 The Employee Education Business Center, Cleveland, Ohio, proposes to enter into a non-competitive contract with Primedia Workplace Learning Healthcare, 4101 International Parkway, Carrollton, TX, 75007 to assist the Employee Education System (EES) to provide the following: 1. Annual subscription to the Joint Commission Satellite Network's (JCSN) ten live broadcasts during Fiscal Year 2001, to include taping and rebroadcast rights for all programs, for all 174 Veterans Heath Administration medical center sites. Due to the unique, complex and proprietary nature of this procurement, there is a reasonable basis to conclude the supplies/services required are only available from this source with unique capabilities, and no other type of supplies or services will satisfy the agency requirements. The contract period of performance is October 1, 2000 through September 30, 2001. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one sourceunder the authority of FAR 6.302-1.
